BIOSOL is a combined antibacterial and anticoccidial formulation containing Trimethoprim and Sulphamethoxazole. The combination produces a double sequential blockage of bacterial metabolism, resulting in powerful antibacterial activity against susceptible microorganisms.

Biosol is indicated for the treatment of infections caused by bacteria and coccidia in poultry, calves, kids, lambs and pigs. It is particularly indicated for infectious coryza, salmonellosis, E. coli infections, Chronic Respiratory Disease (CRD), caecal coccidiosis and secondary bacterial infections associated with viral diseases.

Recommended Usage

For oral administration through drinking water.

Poultry:
1 g per litre of drinking water, equivalent to 25 mg per kg body weight, for 5 days.

Calves, Kids, Pigs & Lambs:
1 g per litre of drinking water, equivalent to 5 g per 40 kg body weight, for 5 days.
