WORMITREX 7.5 POULTRY is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic formulated for the control and treatment of nematode infestations in chickens, geese, ducks and turkeys. It is a yellow-coloured, homogeneous, free-flowing oral liquid containing Levamisole, an imidazothiazole anthelmintic effective against various species of nematodes.
Levamisole acts by causing neuromuscular paralysis of susceptible worms, leading to their passive elimination from the bird. Wormitrex 7.5 Poultry is effective against both mature and immature stages of important poultry worms, including Ascaridia, Capillaria, Heterakis, Amidostomum spp. and Syngamus trachea.
